Give Your Experience the Credit It Deserves
By Toriano Riddick Jr., Founder, RiddickanCo + MOVARA
Your résumé should give the work you’ve put in its credit.
You’ve trained people, solved problems, kept operations moving or caught something others missed. That experience deserves to be explained clearly. Your résumé is your brag sheet, backed by what you’ve actually done.
That’s part of what we’re building with RiddickanCo and MOVARA: helping people recognize their skills, strengthen them and explore where they can go next.
Give your experience room to speak
Sometimes the work becomes so familiar that you stop noticing what it takes to do it well. Keeping accurate records. Helping someone learn a process. Making a handoff smoother. Asking the question that catches a problem early. Those are useful contributions, and they belong in the conversation about what you can bring to a role.
A stronger résumé gives those contributions some detail. What did you handle? How did you approach it? What changed because of your work? A number can help when you can support it. A clear, factual description matters too. You don’t have to invent a result to explain your value.
Start with the work you’ve already done
Our free résumé workspace gives you a place to begin. Type your experience or paste text from a résumé you already have. Think about the role you’re working toward, gather your skills and add the jobs and accomplishments that help tell the story.
The guided steps help you organize factual accomplishment bullets, review an editable text preview and copy or download your draft as a text file. It works without an account, a file upload or AI. Your entries stay in the open page and aren’t saved, so copy or download before leaving or refreshing.
Keep building what comes next
Writing down your experience can also show you where you’d like to grow. Maybe you want more confidence explaining a decision, a better way to check evidence or more practice working with data. Professional development can start there, with something useful to your next step.
Come explore our three free, self-paced courses: Professional Communication & Confidence, Quality Thinking & Evidence, and Data Decisions & Digital Workflow. They give you room to learn, make a decision and practice applying what you understand.
Explore a more focused training path
We also offer requirements, internal auditor and lead auditor training across quality, environmental management, workplace safety, information security and integrated management systems. The catalog includes ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO/IEC 27001 paths, with course-specific editions and delivery options.
You may be exploring a new field, preparing for another responsibility or helping your team strengthen a process. Open the course that interests you and compare its content and entry requirements with what you need.
Choose the learning record that fits
Looking for a certificate? Check the options and requirements on each course page. Our free courses provide independent learning records; they aren’t accredited professional credentials. Certificate options in the paid training catalog serve different purposes and vary by course. Completing training doesn’t automatically grant professional certification or guarantee a job.
When you add learning to your résumé, use the course and award names accurately. Pair them with something you can explain or demonstrate. That gives another person a clearer picture of both your learning and your experience.
Bring your experience and your curiosity
Veterans, career changers, working professionals and teams: there’s room to learn, grow and find a direction that fits you. Start with what you’ve done. Give it the credit it deserves. Then choose one thing you’d like to build next.
