Who Is RiddickanCo : MOVARA?
If you would’ve told me a year ago I’d be sitting here writing a blog I’d tell you it’s not my style. Shoutout to my sandbox brother Brandon Stern I am laughing as I am typing this because He made a joke once saying "You type exactly like you talk" ahaha. This is From me to the world.
I want to introduce myself now that momentum is gaining so bare with me here. For those that don’t know me, my name is Toriano Riddick Jr. CEO of RiddickanCo:Movara I’m a Country boy from West Memphis, Arkansas, and Fayetteville, North Carolina has become home over these last 20 years. I am the Middle child (Can you tell I was hardheaded?) Both places made me who I am today. My parents both have the working generics of rhe hardest workers rooted in our Ancestry. Both taught me lessons more than the classroom ever could. We had everything we needed and wanted even with some cool Hammy downs I would get from my Father attempting to fill his shoes as a growing boy.
I'm a Rebel with a cause. There are times still to this day I drive around and day and get inspired looking at big houses with white picket fences and thinking, “Man… those people made it I know I’m headed there.”
Not because it was some mansion, but because where I came from, something as simple as a fence represented stability it’s a status symbol. It represents hope. It represents a life I thought was out of reach.
I was the typical hard headed kid I graduated Jack Britt 2015. Near Strickland bridge and Fisher home was both Arrans Lake Wests. Met guys and grew bonds that are Firm till this day. I was the average knuckle head (arent all creators?). Graduation comes I have no plan and then the Navy Recruiter works hard with us to get in and then me and all my friends were kicked off to the Navy where my life changed. Could you believe I joined a Military branch and did not know how to swim?! Guess who can backfloat like an expert these days (Two Thumbs this way) Eight years..7.5(Yall know we round up it was like 7 and some change ahah) . It wasnt hard to shine it was clear pathways to where and why you needed to do things like be in the community and also work the hardest and be the flyest and what you do. Some of the best years I’ll ever have. Fifteen-hour days on the flight deck.

Talking about what we wanted after the military.
Talking about how we knew… somehow… we were meant for something bigger.
Not bigger than anybody else.
Just bigger than ourselves.

I’m a Dreamer.
While everybody else was sleeping..I load my music in my headphones turned up and I got to writing. Journal after journal. Idea after idea. Business after business. Drawing random diagrams. Writing plans nobody understood but me.Something in me kept saying,“Keep going. You’re building something. Then I got out. Like a lot of veterans…
I had to figure it out. I wasn’t looking for handouts. I knew my family needed to be provided for and everyone knows I’m Shundra son I got a hustle in me like no other with my OG Pops mindset. One job turned into another.
You gotta hit the grind slow motion better than no motion.
Just like everyone I went and paid my dues to the toughest Community…Warehousing. Manufacturing, Food production, Hell even snuck into the Nuclear Field! These days I do Auditing, Consulting. Everywhere I went…
I kept seeing the same thing.
Great people… Wrong or barriered opportunities and of course greed. I have the decision to make to further this chance. Companies saying they couldn’t find talent. People saying they couldn’t find careers. People in need of a career transition but not willing to take the chance to go to the next level.
The bridge is collapsing. Jump!
I knew I was destined to excel in this lifetime I had the potential. How will I do this I say Father? "grant me Wisdom" I said. I often Remember the loving Church ladies (You know the ones who always had "that" candy?) yeah the strong faith having Ladies--They Would pray for me and tell me their is a light in my eyes.
Be Still. and Trust.
That’s when everything clicked.
RiddickanCo is about to take the leap of faith. RiddickanCo is the daily grind wake up and tell the early birds to go back to bed because I already got the worms. I started auditing I took losses hit the road even doordashed and networked like never before in big neighborhoods(<—- write that down) ,everything I needed to do to pay my dues and attend these economic meetings, Manufacturing Meetings and bring my company to life. I went on and I started getting steady with momentum what I have pioneered is a Chance to put my 2 cents in this economy and not only create jobs but build a community I once needed.
I’m a Executer.

Movara is my Economic Workforce Initiative, It started becoming the sweet soulful rhythm I move to when Im in that mode. You know that mode where it’s like Motion Picture Theatre
? Movara is strengthening the workforce starting here In Fayetteville, North Carolina. Partering with the Community, Youth Organizations, Re-Entry Programs. I accepted the Mission after countless prayers and nights of thinking over and over how to package this thing. Movara is the community I wish I had growing up.
The place where somebody can say,
“I don’t know where I fit.”
And instead of getting another motivational speech…

I’m here to say we are in the age where Information is vital and we must prepare especially my 90’s twins. America 250 has shown that we are entering new Global change starting with Foreign Policy which shape how we operate in this Economy. We have work to do and we are the ones that are Front line running as our parents and grandparents (baby boomers) retire. Movara exists because thousands of people poured into me. Family Friends, Chiefs, Mentors, Coworkers.
Complete strangers that I was honored to meet along this Journey.

People always ask me,
“Why do you care so much about workforce?” Because there is no workforce without the people.It’s fathers, Mothers, Veterans, Re-Entry, Students, Creators, Small business owners and most of all My Family. Waking up on the days you know you dont have the strength to make it happen but you still do because you know nobody can do it like you.
I don’t know where this journey is going to take us.
But I know this…I’m willing to dedicate my life to it and Not because I want people to know my name.
Because one day…
I want a kid growing up in a neighborhood like I did to look around and realize they don’t have to leave their community to find opportunity.
They just need somebody to help them see it.
That’s what RiddickanCo is becoming.
